APTart in Jordan (in 2014+2015), Zaatari Refugee Camp for Syrian Refugees, Mafraq Jordan, Cyber City Refugee Camp for Syrian/Palestinian Refugees

Working with ACTED and APTart, the first series of projects and workshops were developed for intensive periods of time to focus on raising awareness on the daily epidemics spreading through the camp, fun interactive and creative exercises incorporating lessons on issues such as hygiene, water conservation and health and safety were designed while making sure that the key focus was producing creative outlets and spaces for imagination  for the children and to encourage alternative non violent ways to problem solving and expression. The second projects called Past/Present/Future explored the psychological and physical impact of trauma and how sharing experiences and expressing memories and emotions can help develop positive proactive environments. This included painting and craft workshops as well as creating large-scale murals in the camps.
